Urbaan Reiter

Urbaan Reiter was born on the 30th of June 2003 in Slovenj Gradec in Slovenia.

He started to play the guitar at the age of seven at Music school Ravne na Koroškem. His teachers at that time were Andrej Ofak ( four years) and Marko Strmčnik ( two years ) Last year of the elementary school he had occasionally music lessons with Xhevdet Sahatxhija.

After ending six years of elementary music school, in September 2016, he continued his music education at the Music school Fran Korun Koželjski   ( secondary education ) in Velenje. His professor was Xhevdet Sahatxhija for one year.

During regular schooling, Urbaan constantly improved his knowledge by attending master classes.

In July 2017, he was accepted to University of Music and Performing Arts Graz ( Course for Highly Gifted Students ) and now his professor is prof. Paolo Pegoraro.

Urbaan participated at several Guitar festivals and won several prizes. For him the most important achievements were winning:

  • Michele Pittaluga junior internationale di chitarra classica 48 Alessandria: 1st Primo premio assoluto
